Linda has always loved designing and making dresses, first commissions came before leaving school for foundation course in Art and Design. Her artist Father and clever dressmaking (amongst other things!) Mum passed on their skills and inspired her to study Fashion Design at St Martins School of Art. Life drawing is still a passion, the study of the human form in all it's variations and movement gives an understanding of how to create the most flattering shapes. A successful shop in Hyper Hyper on Kensington High Street London followed. Specialising in bespoke Evening wear "the Classic Velvet Halter Rose Dress sold faster than we could make them! We discovered quality Made to Measure at a reasonable price was the way to go, how many of us are actually High St or designer shape?" Collaborations with Stylists, Film Directors and Production companies designing very exciting costumes for film and television led to Linda becoming a Costume designer/maker across a wide range of media. In the last five years Linda has designed and created around 70 bespoke wedding gowns and bridal dresses.
